Cognoscenti Gisborne Syrah 2015

The wine displays ripe plum and cassis notes enhanced with mocha coffee and toasted oak characters from barrel fermentation. The palate is medium bodied and supple with fine tannins and integrated plum, berry and savoury oak flavours. Balanced acidity contributes to the long length of flavour making it well suited to full flavoured cuisine particularly beef and game dishes.
